Who did Carnival help in 2015?
All of the helpers and organisers of the Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival give their time entirely voluntarily and receive no payment so we keep our administrative expenses to a minimum.
After paying for major items like the fireworks, our essential insurance premiums, licences and so on, everything that is donated in our collections or is surplus from entry fees makes its way to these good causes in our town.
Please therefore give generously so that we can continue to help our local community organisations. Last year we were able to help 30 local good causes totalling £9,000 – these were:
B Sharp, Christmas Lights, Community Lunch Club, Driftwood Project, Father Christmas Sleigh Project, Football Club (Youth Section), Fossil Festival, Get Together Club, Gig Club (Youth Section), Hallett Court, Honiton Gymnastic Club, Lym Valley Scouts, Lyme Regis Coastguard, Lyme Regis Lifeboat Crew, Lyme Regis Majorettes, Lyme Regis Town Band, LymeNet, Marine Theatre (Youth Section), Marine Theatre, Moving On, Musical Theatre, Pantomime Society, Photographic Society, Power Boat Club (Youth Section), Sailing Club (Youth Section), St Michael’s School, Table Tennis Club, Taekwondo, The Hub, The Project.
