Local good causes invited to apply for share of Carnival funds

Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival invites local groups to apply for a share of £26,000 raised during Carnival Week

Local groups and voluntary organisations are being invited to apply for a share of the £26,000 raised during this year’s Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival Week.

Following another hugely successful week of events, the Carnival Committee is delighted to be able to distribute a significant sum in grants to support organisations making a positive difference in the local community.

Local groups and organisations wishing to apply for funding should email grants2026@lymeregiscarnival.uk, providing the following information:

The name of the organisation.
Its general aims and purpose.
The amount of funding requested.
A detailed explanation of what the funding would be used for.

The closing date for applications is Monday, 9 November 2026. You will receive an email confirmation of your application within a few days of applying.

The team hopes the grants will help support a wide range of local initiatives and enable community organisations to continue their valuable work.
