Embark on a thrilling journey where science and creativity collide in a rocket making workshop.

Design and build your own rocket and then launch it and see how far it goes. It could fly up to 10 metres in the air!

You will design the aerofoils from a range of materials and give your rocket a name. You'll then have to provide the power to launch your rocket – and you may get wet in the process!

The workshop is for all the family in the Performance Area in the Marine Parade Shelters on the seafront. Entry costs £2 per rocket and all materials will be provided.
